Last month we traveled to the National Air Guard P Last month we traveled to the National Air Guard Pease Base for their National Guard Air Show and for their FIRST Robotics (unofficial) Competition! We were able to get great seats to the air show, and get in on some sick competition with other teams from the area. Welcome to our team the Robotomies! We are a team Welcome to our team the Robotomies! We are a team founded in Groton, Massachusetts, we have about 20-30 members every year. Each year we travel to WPI, Salem, NH, High School, and the annual FIRST Kickoff in Manchester, NH, where it all started! We value hard teamwork and community. As a recap from last year, we went all the way and we’re invited to The Big E in Springfield, Mass, for the New England District Championship, but we’re unable to attend. As a way to continue our growth as a team over thi As a way to continue our growth as a team over this time of quarantine while FIRST competitions are cancelled, we decided to build a miniature version of a robot that can complete all of the tasks of this years competition. 🤖 How do we manage the small size? Arduino and 3D printed parts! And instead of power cells, 🔋we’re using ping pong balls. 🏓 This challenge is designed to help teams build their CAD and coding skills, and we suggest other teams try the same. 🤓💻We challenge teams @team_1729 @frc1922 and @frcteam88 to build MINIBOTS of their own!
