We’re almost through with our electrical and mechanical! Today was the first time we were able to test our pneumatic arms, climbing onto the chain on the ‘Stage’ component of the field. Our goal is to be able to shoot ‘Notes’ into the Amp and Speaker components. Last month we traveled to the National Air Guard Pease Base for their National Guard Air Show and for their FIRST Robotics (unofficial) Competition! We were able to get great seats to the air show, and get in on some sick competition with other teams from the area. Throughout the day we were given a trophy for our efforts and able to get up close to some of the National Guards best airplanes. #robotics #frc #first #1277 #robotomies #safety #firstrobotics #grease

Welcome to our team the Robotomies! We are a team founded in Groton, Massachusetts, we have about 20-30 members every year. Each year we travel to WPI, Salem, NH, High School, and the annual FIRST Kickoff in Manchester, NH, where it all started! We value hard teamwork and community. As a recap from last year, we went all the way and we’re invited to The Big E in Springfield, Mass, for the New England District Championship, but we’re unable to attend. As a way to continue our growth as a team over thi

As a way to continue our growth as a team over this time of quarantine while FIRST competitions are cancelled, we decided to build a miniature version of a robot that can complete all of the tasks of this years competition. 🤖 How do we manage the small size? Arduino and 3D printed parts! And instead of power cells, 🔋we’re using ping pong balls. 🏓 This challenge is designed to help teams build their CAD and coding skills, and we suggest other teams try the same. 🤓💻We challenge teams @team_1729 @frc1922 and @frcteam88 to build MINIBOTS of their own! Yesterday was an incredible day. We are the Robotomies. We don't give up. Ever. Going to our second finals in the span of 3 weeks is insane, and we thank @team_1729 and @frc1922 for being such great alliance partners and recognizing our defensive prowess. Even though we couldn't take it all the way, each and every one of us should be immensely proud of our contributions to making this season so incredible. Thank you, and see you guys at the WPI!
