Team 1277 competed at the NE District Greater Bost

Team 1277 competed at the NE District Greater Boston Event in Revere, MA, last weekend. While we didn’t bring home the win this time, we are so proud of how our team performed and the experiences we gained. Huge thanks to our alliance partners @timberwolves1153, @kwarqs2423, and @robotsbythec. It was an amazing experience competing alongside so many great teams, and it couldn’t have been possible without all the mentors, students, sponsors, and supporters. Also special thanks to all the judges and volunteers that made this event possible! #nefirst #frc #robotics #rebuilt

This year’s robot is the result of countless hours of dedication, collaboration, and creativity from Team 1277. We’re eagerly awaiting the results to see if we’ll advance to the New England District Competition, to represent our school and community. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us on this journey—stay tuned for updates and wish us luck! #frc #firstinspiresme #first #robotics #2025 #robotics #robot #technology #1277 #robotomies #groton #dunstable #grotondunstableregionalhighschool @first_official_ @nefirst #electrical #mechanical

Meet our 2025 robot after a tough couple days at WPI! Team 1277, The Robotomies, is gearing up in hopes of getting a invitation to NE FIRST District Championships! Countless hours of design, building, and coding have led to this moment, and we can't wait to put our bot to the test! Stay tuned for updates as we take on the challenge!

We’re almost through with our electrical and mechanical! Today was the first time we were able to test our pneumatic arms, climbing onto the chain on the ‘Stage’ component of the field. Our goal is to be able to shoot ‘Notes’ into the Amp and Speaker components. Last month we traveled to the National Air Guard Pease Base for their National Guard Air Show and for their FIRST Robotics (unofficial) Competition! We were able to get great seats to the air show, and get in on some sick competition with other teams from the area. Throughout the day we were given a trophy for our efforts and able to get up close to some of the National Guards best airplanes. #robotics #frc #first #1277 #robotomies #safety #firstrobotics #grease

Welcome to our team the Robotomies! We are a team

Welcome to our team the Robotomies! We are a team founded in Groton, Massachusetts, we have about 20-30 members every year. Each year we travel to WPI, Salem, NH, High School, and the annual FIRST Kickoff in Manchester, NH, where it all started! We value hard teamwork and community. As a recap from last year, we went all the way and we’re invited to The Big E in Springfield, Mass, for the New England District Championship, but we’re unable to attend. We are currently on our way to Thunder Over NH, at the National Air Guard Pease Base. We are all excited to start the season off! #robotics #frc #first #robotomies #2024 #gearshift #robot

As a way to continue our growth as a team over this time of quarantine while FIRST competitions are cancelled, we decided to build a miniature version of a robot that can complete all of the tasks of this years competition. 🤖 How do we manage the small size? Arduino and 3D printed parts! And instead of power cells, 🔋we’re using ping pong balls. 🏓 This challenge is designed to help teams build their CAD and coding skills, and we suggest other teams try the same. 🤓💻We challenge teams @team_1729 @frc1922 and @frcteam88 to build MINIBOTS of their own! Sound fun? Tag your fellow teams to challenge them too! Follow along with the hashtag, #MINIBOTCHALLENGE —
